These last few days I’ve been a bit cut off from the world outside of Point Cook. Lots of planning with our 3500 km trip that we had scheduled for today, though circumstances change and so does our planning. We needed two new tyres to our v-dub Herman the German, which haven’t been easy to find. That question was resolved today, when we meet with Nick in Melbourne.
An awesome guy with a real sense of humour, a beautiful wife and adorable kids. It was so nice seeing a VW-fanatic once again!
I’ve also been working on Herman, because there was this noise that came from the rear. Of course things happens just before you are about to start the journey. Well, rather now than later when we are on the Nullarbor Plain. Google that, and you’ll see what we’re up against. Desert is probably a mild word. In latin Nullabor means “no-trees” which might explain it a bit. Click here for our travel map.
The last weekend we catched up with Josh and Cassidy whom I photographed a few weeks ago. Look at this post. This weekend they had reinforcement by their brother Luke who is in this picture. We had so much fun and I took an insane amount of pictures considering we only met them for a few hours.
Well well, the pictures will end up here eventually. Depending on how curious you readers are. That was a summary of my last few days, but please tell me, how have you been?
